Ghani Foundation – Global Health Technology Initiative is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to developing affordable, AI-driven healthcare diagnostic technologies for underserved and resource-constrained communities, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. The initiative focuses on designing and deploying innovative solutions that improve access to essential health services where conventional medical infrastructure is limited.
Its work spans several key areas, including clean water technologies, portable and low-cost medical devices, neuromorphic AI hardware, and point-of-care diagnostic systems. These technologies are specifically engineered to operate in low-resource environments, emphasizing affordability, portability, energy efficiency, and ease of use by frontline healthcare workers.
By integrating advances in artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, and sustainable technology design, the initiative aims to enable earlier disease detection, strengthen community health systems, and improve overall health outcomes in underserved regions.
